HMV celebrates Wildlife Week

Department of Zoology of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya celebrated Wild Life Week (2^nd to 8^th October) under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.  Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal, Coordinator Collegiate School and Dr. Seema Marwaha, HOD Zoology extended a floral welcome to Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.  Different activities were organized including Essay Writing Competition, Slogan Writing Competition, Poem Recitation and a Slide Show on wildlife and its conservation.

                        A short documentary on significance of wildlife and its conservation was also shown to bring awareness amongst the students as they can take creative measures to conserve wildlife.  Principal Prof. Dr. Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of the department and inspired students to do such programmes in future also.  She gave emphasis on conservation of natural resources like air, water and to make judicious use of these resources to save them for our future generations as well.   Principal Dr. Sareen also gave trophies and certificates to the winners of various events.  Judges for the various competitions were Dr. Kanika Sharma and Ms. Charandeep Kaur.  Ms. Avantika Randev organized the whole event.  Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Seema Marwaha, HOD Zoology.  On this occasion, non-teaching staff members Mr. Sachin and Mr. Amit were also present.

ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੀਵ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪੋ. ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਤੀ ਅਜੈ ਸਰੀਨ ਦੀ ਯੋਗ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ‘ਵਣ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਪਤਾਹ' ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਸੀਮਤੀ ਮੀਨਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਿਆਲ (ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ, ਸਕੂਲ) ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਾ ਮਰਵਾਹਾ (ਮੁਖੀ, ਜੀਵ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ) ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਦਾ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਨਿਬੰਧ ਲੇਖਨ, ਸਲੋਗਨ, ਕਵਿਤਾ ਉਚਾਰਣ ਅਤੇ ਵਣ ਜੀਵਨ ਤੇ ਸਲਾਈਡ ਸ਼ੋ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਸਰੰਖਣ ਆਦਿ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਵਣ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੰਖਣ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਇਕ ਵੱਤਚਿੱਤਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਜਾਗਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।  ਮੈਡਮ ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪੋਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਇਸ ਤਰ•ਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਆਨਵਰਧਕ ਕਾਰਜ਼ ਭੱਵਿਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਪੋਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।  ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਸੋਮਿਆਂ - ਹਵਾ, ਪਾਣੀ ਆਦਿ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੀੜ•ੀ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਉਸਨੂੰਸੁਰੱਖਿਤ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ।  ਡਾ. ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਯਾਦ ਚਿੰਨ• ਅਤੇ ਪਮਾਣ ਪੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਤ ਕੀਤਾ।  ਜੱਜ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਡਾ. ਕਨਿਕਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਮਤੀ ਚਰਣਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਪੋਗਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਸੁਸੀ ਅਵੰਤਿਕਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।  ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਮੁਖੀ ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਾ ਮਰਵਾਹਾ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।  ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਨਾੱਨ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸੀ ਸਚਿਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਿਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
