Shine bright with etched platinum....!!

Hey embossing friends...

It's Ashlee here today and I have a set of cards to share with you featuring a brand new powder from one of the Seth Apter trio's Etched Platinum!!

For one of the cards I did embossed stars and the other an embossed stencil background with stars too....

To create the first card I used Gansai Tambi watercolour paints to create a galaxy, I then mounted that feature piece onto some black cardstock and mounted it on my card base with foam tape...

Using a piece of white cardstock I covered it in WOW! embossing ink and embossed with the WOW! Etched platinum powder, this then gave me a beautiful piece to die cut my stars!!

I then added the stars to my watercolour panel and card base...

To finish off this card a couple of sentiments to fit the galaxy theme and some pretty CP Crater lake sequins to add some more bling!!

For my second card I created a base using a blend of distress oxide inks

- Lucky clover

- Wilted violet

- Dusty concord

- Blueprint sketch

- Black soot

Once my inks were dry I went over the base with my anti static tool so that none of my powder would stick to any of the ink. I placed the stencil (Altenew beveled squares) over the top, went over it with WOW! embossing ink and embossed with WOW! Etched platinum!!

I added die cut stars from the same panel I embossed with the WOW! Etched platinum powder from my first card and a shine bright sentiment along with some sequins and the second card was complete!!
