I commented on this previously I think, but CERN recently posted some figures on it's latest energy output. 13 TeV was the previous record set back in May or so. I wonder if anyone is doing any math to reconcile LHC energy consumption to LHC energy output? I wonder if that energy consumption end goes all the way back to prior to turning the fucking thing on. Like, includes energy consumed from day 1 of inception/design/construction? Cause I'm betting that if you did, you would see some amazing lines start to cross on input output. I bet they would be so goddamn amazing, that they would almost amount to even. Like exactly 50/50. Then, you would see, a doubling...twice.
